When you talk about web performance, I immediately think about how slow and awful most site are at loading. You’ve got these bloated sites, chock full of advertising scripts, massive images loading just to placate the CEO’s ego. It’s a PAIN to use a site on mobile, but the digital marketing manager is oblivious to the poor performace being caused by fixable load issues!

A1: CWV is overrated #SEOChat

A1 Web Performance I think of: – Speed – Mobile Friendly – Optimized – Content Rendered – User Friendly

Core web vitals!!!! #seochat

Mordy Oberstein

My go-to tool is waterfaller.dev because it provides the scores I need, the waterfall of loading that helps me debug, and is pre-formatted with instructions for tech minded dev resources to fix these issues so I can just copy/paste them in an email/ticket and get the work done asap.

What I use to measure Core Web Vitals is… – Google Search Console – http://Web.dev – WebPageTest (they’re working on some fun stuff too!) – Lighthouseeeeeee

A3 If the page doesn’t load fast – they bounce. It truly can be that simple, especially on mobile.

Like what Luke? Give me an example. Like changing up a template so it looks more professional ?? Most often, all web improvements can help bolster the bottom line.
