Lidia Infante

A3. It really does depend on a some variables. I prefer gTLD with subfolders, as they are easier to implement and maintain in comparison #seochat

Mmhhh thinking of people that have worked on international SEO and I know @aleyda and @LidiaInfanteM have some hot takes on this

A3: Parts of the site that are still only built out in one language. Good thing I can read that one too since no one needs an English knowledgebase or anything.

A4: Yikes something we didn’t even discuss last time for multilingual sites. What about page versioning for localized translations? This might be necessary considering that it’s so easy to get it wrong as an international brand.

Sweepsify

A5: Likely SEO battles. I can see English words that aren’t commonly translated and just used as is causing keyword cannibalization issues.

Sweepsify

For international strategies I will totally recommend to follow @aleyda or @LidiaInfanteM and specifically for multilingual strategies @isaline_margot or @sarafdez. They are all awesome

Gemma Fontané

Always @aleyda of course, @JudithLewis is also incredible, but she doesn’t tweet as much, @sophiegibson is amazing and I saw a presentation by @sarafdez too recently!! #seochat
